What’s the song about?
“The whole lyrical idea of this song is about getting outside more and seeing the world as it is instead of seeing the world through a TV screen.”
What inspired you to write this song?
“Basically from seeing how much a lot of people rely on and believe information that they see on TV so my reaction to that was to say “throw your television out and start living” and get outside and see the world with your own eyes.”
How would you describe it?
“It’s a mid tempo fun and groovy track with a very dominant bassline and some funky guitar parts and smooth keyboard parts and tons of vocal harmonies coming in and out around the main vocal. It has a commercial feel good vibe which is exactly what I was looking for when I wrote and recorded it.”
Where was it recorded and mixed?
“This song, like all of my songs, was recorded and mixed with my simple home studio setup. I play all instruments and program the drums using a drum program or using drum loops that I have available. The final mix is then mastered using an online mastering service.”
