New Release – Seaside Town by Blake Sonnet

Blake Sonnet is a singer-songwriter from the UK. He’s always on the search for the magic that surrounds us and articulating it into a song. In 2021 he will be releasing a song every month.

“The song is about some of our British Seaside Towns. I wrote it in January 2021”

What inspired you to write this song?

“A trip to one ‘Seaside Town’ that I won’t mention, I was surprised by the social and economic issues and the contrast of the beautiful beach, sunshine and the neglect of the community. A spinning Ferris Wheel and an argument on the street about drug money that I witnessed inspired the song. But I was also inspired by the innovative work of local people to make a change. To create and to improve this rundown place.”
