New Release – Outsiders by Black Suit Youth

Black Suit Youth is a four piece rock outfit from NYC and Long Island (USA). Black Suit Youth has been called The Gaslight Anthem crossed with Poison. Punk attitudes, catchy song structures, and shredding! They have toured heavily and opened for bands such as Story of the Year, Giovani and the Hired Guns, Alien Ant Farm, Armor for Sleep, Green Jello and Awake at Last. They have collaborated on tracks with artists such as Sponge, Wheatus, and DMC!

Their latest release is the album ‘The World is Almost Over’. Their new single ‘Outsiders’ will be released on 9th June. A pre-save is available here.

“The song is about being yourself, not going along with things just because people of influence tell you to, and finding your person or people who are similar and understand you.”

“We recorded it ourselves in our bassist Juan’s basement here in New York. It was mixed by Peter Catalano at 59x studios in Atlanta where we recorded our previous two albums.”

“This was the first song I wrote during the pandemic. I strapped on a guitar, plugged in, and wrote it on the spot in five minutes. It was electric just to feel the joy of ripping a loud guitar and dancing around with it during such a heavy and dark time.”
