New Release – I Think I’m Okay by Dusty Grant

Dusty Grant is a solo acoustic singer/songwriter turned hard rocker from Wichita (USA). After three years of releasing music and touring the Midwest as a solo act, Grant has found his stride with his full band. Set to release their third single of 2022, the band is constantly growing and evolving their polished hard rock sound with powerful choruses, heart-wrenching, pulse-pounding lyrical content, chaotically beautiful guitar work, and a thunderous low end.

The new single ‘I Think I’m Okay’ is out on 30th September. A pre-save is available.

How would you describe it?

“It’s a very aggressive and angry song. There is a feeling of tension and chaos throughout and it definitely shows a bit of a chip on our shoulder.”

Is this release different from your previous releases?

“Definitely. At certain points during the writing process, I was almost uncomfortable being so open lyrically and sharing my frustration and struggle. It’s by far our heaviest offering yet and just a glimpse of what this band is really capable of.”

Is the release accompanied with a music video?

“There is a video and I believe it is my best yet. We worked with acclaimed videographer JT Ibanez. It will be available on the Dusty Grant YouTube channel.”

“This was a pretty demanding video shoot for me. I had restraints around my arms and had to go shirtless and get covered in fake blood. I did the performance part pulling on a treadmill against the restraints that were being held and pulled by other band members. Definitely the craziest shoot I’ve ever been a part of.”
