What inspired you to write this song?
“I wrote the song after a break-up with a girl in 2019. At the time I was still very hurt and imagined what it would be like to bump into her years later. Although I would be happy to see her and hope that she is doing well, I wouldn’t want to know too much. Too save any more heartache I’d rather not know all the details of her new life.”
What movie or TV series should feature your song and why?
“When writing the song, I was thinking about a Nick Drake tune that was featured in “The Royal Tenebaums”. I’m a big fan of (the director) Wes Anderson’s films so would love to have it on one of his soundtracks. I think the wistful, yearning quality of Peter Doherty’s Production would suit one of his future productions well.”
Is the release is accompanied by a music video?
“The music video will premiere on YouTube on the 7th of December. It was shot and directed in the beautiful surroundings of Brooke Park in Derry (Northern Ireland) by the amazingly talented Gav Kelly. I wanted an autumnal setting and the weather served us well. Im so happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to share it with everyone.”
