New Release – Hey Sunshine by Grace can’t play guitar
Grace can’t play guitar was formed in August 2017 by two friends who over the years have collaborated on various music projects. In their first single they introduced us to Grace.
“She is the girl next door! Or is she……. Our music tells the story of Grace as she walks through her life. The one thing we do know is that she can’t play guitar!!”
“We are Grace can’t play guitar; we do not belong in a box!”
Their new single ‘Hey Sunshine’ was released earlier this week.
“The song is about celebrating the great British summer as we come out of lockdown after these often dark and challenging times. It is about freedom, fun and happiness and we hope that it gets people wanting to dance, sing and most importantly smile once again!”
“To go from a couple of lines or a piece of music to a whole song is an incredible journey of its own! Then of course, there’s the recording, which is where the real fun starts, especially if you’re lucky enough to be blessed with a creative producer – which we are! The release is the final part of the puzzle where as a band you get to share your creation, this part can never come quick enough! Words cannot describe the proud feeling we get when someone simply says I like that !!! – a lot!!!”
“There is a massive sense of excitement when releasing a new song, but that is when the real hard work starts as you have all the promotion activities to get your single heard and that is mixed with the nervous energy caused by the worry about what if no one hears, or worse, likes it! Social media can be a minefield, but you have to do it so that you stand a chance of getting your song heard. We are so grateful to have been lucky enough to have had our music played in different continents from Europe to Asia, Australia to the Americas, it is a labour of love, but we love it! We eat, sleep and breath Grace can’t play Guitar!”
“With our music being played on both the radio and streaming playlists around the world, we are humbled by the fantastic feedback our supporters give us, it means the world to us to know that you enjoy what we do!”
