Keith Burke – That’s where the bees loved to go

Keith Burke grew up in Skerries, Co. Dublin (Ireland). The first two singles from his upcoming studio album, ‘I’ll begin this letter’ and ‘Before you go’ were well received and played on Irish National and Regional radio. He has proudly sung his songs at concerts in the USA, Germany, Lebanon, Italy, Spain and Egypt. He writes mainly about adult lives and unconventional love stories found in the ordinary.

His upcoming single ‘That’s where the bees love to go’ is a song about his grandfather’s garden.

“The theme of the lyrics is bees, birds and flowers, which is a move away from that of romance for me.”

“I had a lot of fun recording it. You’ll hear Sinead Madden on fiddle, Olivier Ansaldi on sax and finally The Black Book Gospel Choir playing us out towards the end.“

“The song was recorded and mixed by Anthony Gibney in Audioland Studios in Leixlip.“

That’s where the bees loved to go’ is scheduled for release on all streaming platforms on 12th April 2024.

Launch concert: 25th May, The Patriots Inn, Dublin.
